Hel's Backyard Hideaway
Dear friends and family of Hel,
Shhhhhhhhhhh, it's a surprise! Help us raise money for a Backyard Hideaway for Hel!
As many of you know, Hel and Mia have recently moved into a lovely house in Oakland. In the backyard there is a little shed and Hel has been suuuuper excited about turning it into a hideaway for herself.
This will be a place she can go that is just hers, when she needs time alone. Hel has very little time at home for herself after commuting to and from work in San Francisco, and what little time she has, she uses to help out friends, family and community. She also generously gives up her space to host guests, events, dinners and meetings for community and organizations all the time.
So this is our chance to give something back to her!
We want to help her create something that is just for her; a place she can go and unwind, read a book, play music and make truly special!
So, for her birthday, we wanted to help her make her hideaway a reality. We know it will probably take much more than $500 to insulate and re-model, but this is a start, from the people who care about her.
